Welcome to the Play-By-Post section of Digimon: Digital Adventures! Here, you can play an online game without having to worry about learning IRC or finding real life people to do things with and pretty much play at your own leisure.
Keep in mind, pacing depends on other players and the GM, depending on how often they check things and post, so don't expect lightning fast responses.
Here's a few ground rules so that we can all have fun.
1. When in doubt, you're using the latest rules for DDA. If you can't find anything, screw the rules and have fun. They're more like guidelines, really.
2. No douchebaggery. This means things like god-modding, power gaming, and generally acting like a dick to people. Don't do that. If it does, try to resolve it amongst yourselves before dropping me a PM.
3. Most of all, have fun. That's what this is about, after all.
4. Keep your sheet up to date and put a link to it in your signature so folks can see it.
GMs and players are encouraged to use invisiblecastle.com/roller/ for dice rolls since you can simply post the results. When making character rolls, it's a flat 3d6 + Modifier and Digimon and human attack and defense rolls are done with the xd6.hitsmin(5) command, with x being the amount of dice rolled.
I, personally, have no problem with free-forming things so if a GM wants to do that, they are more than welcome to.
Here, you'll also find a basic character sheet that you can build characters for games with:
NAME: Your character's name goes here.
PLAYER: Your user name goes here.
GAME/GM: Which game you're in goes here, as well as the GM's name.
DESCRIPTION: A basic description of your character's looks go here.
BIO: A short biography of your character goes here.
