Some of the guys from the /tg/ threads were saying that five continuation threads was a bit much, and some people wanted a way to chat that might be faster than a forum, so we made an irc channel at #prodigious on irc.rizon.net .

this was totally my idea
But, seriously, people who are interested in this really need to come in, makes planning campaigns easier, which we're starting to do.
We've also got a few rule experts, along with some people who might be able to fill a missing Digimon slot in your sheet.

It's also more popular than the one listed in the rules, seeing as barely anyone knew the offical one even exsisted until after we made the channel. That being said, each time I've come in there's always people talking. We've been trying to get the Emperor in here to see if we can switch to this room instead as the main room.

What's wrong with the one in the book? We've got at least five regulars with some people popping in and out every now and then, and though we might not be the most talkative bunch, we'll have a conversation with you if you give us a little prompting.
I really don't see a reason to double up on IRC channels when the one we've been using is just fine.

Freenode is an IRC server more people seem to be stable on, we have a Dicebot at the ready, and we're a talkative bunch with regularly 5-6 people. Hell, we got 7 people in the chat at the time of writing. 8 including the dicebot.
